Lenten Campaign 2010

Shallom dear brothers and sisters in Christ..


This Saturday tentative is as follows:




9. 00am = Depart from UMP ( RM10 will be collected from each person for food and transportation fee)

10.00am = Gotong Royong at St Theresa Chapel (please wear proper attire for this event)

2.00pm = meeting with the CVSF committee ( Core team only, the others can relax first)

4.00pm = Tea Break

5.00pm = Praise and Worship ( worshiping songs only since this is the month of Lent)

6.30pm = Discussion (during this slot Mr Greg will explain to the whole group what is campus Ministry all about to get feed backs from the students)


8.00pm = Dinner break

10.00pm = Lenten Campaign( Mr Greg will explain about this)

11.30pm = Good night

Cameron Highlands Vacation

Cameroon Highlands is the other holiday destination choose by the CVSF members. Depart from Ump around 8.am and arrived safely at Cameroon Highlands around 4pm. long journey... we're rent apartment for 2 nights.. enough for 15 of us!

first night we cooked by ourselves no enough time to jalan-jalan coz many of us seem like tired and need rest especially si Drivers.

first day... we visitNight Market at Brinchang.. at the evening we got Ash wednesday mass at Convent chapel. Mass conducted by Fr Eugene. At night, hang out with father Eugene.. He brought a lot of Kuih Raya Cina. We came to Fr Eugene House, really enjoy it..


Next day, we woke up early in the morning and drive to Gunung Brinchang Watch Tower (around 30 minutes from our apartment) to enjoy the sunrise but so sad because there were dimly visible. Locate at > 2000 m from sea level and there are damn cold. On the way back to apartment there was traffic jammed. It quite dangerous due to road condition very narrow.


At Night, we visit blue valley. Nearly kelantan and Pahang boundary. We going back to our apartment around 2am! so tired!


last day, we visit Bharat Tea Plantation (cameron Valley) and New Zealand village. Took some pictures! really enjoy on that day

Malacca: World Heritage Site (WHS)

kesempatan cuti CNY yang lepas tidak disia-siakan begitu saja. segelintir ahli CVSF telah mengambil peluang ini untuk bercuti bersama kengkawan yang lain. Antara nya ada yang melawat Melaka a.k.a tapak warisan dunia diitiraf oleh UNESCO.


seramai 10 orang dari kalangan cvsf menyertai pakej percutian yang sendiri di taja oleh mereka. :)..

bertolak petang sabtu dari kuantan dan sampai dalam pukul 8 malam di melaka.

Batu 8 (Orang Asli Village) visits.

During the CNY holidays, 8 of cvsf members join the mass with orang asli at batu 8. They came together with 7 parishioners. Depart at 2 pm from church and they have 2 time mass during that day. They celebrate Ash Wednesday with Orang Asli also. They so lucky coz got ang pow! from auntie I guess..
